MANUAL IDENTIFICATION

To measure and record an event, Manual Isotope Identification must be performed.

Manual ID can be performed whether the SAM 950 is in an alarm condition or not.

•Default measurement time for Manual ID is 60 seconds.

•Increase or decrease the measurement time in real-time by touching the ▲ or ▼ icons.

•Measurement Time is increased or decreased in increments of 10 seconds.

The Identification Screen (LEFT) displays event spectrum while the Classification screen (RIGHT) displays isotopes on a color-coded bar graph. Use touch screen slider icon or use arrow keys to toggle between the two screens.

SPECTRUM MANIPULATION

The SAM 950 interface allows easy drill down and review of spectrum in real time. Hand gestures as follows will allow review of spectra -

1.Action Touch with two fingers and extend or retract    

 Effect Zoom in or out on a Region of Interest

2. Action Tap twice quickly

Effect Zoom back to the original spectrum scale

3. Action Hold and move left/right                                    

Effect Spectrum moves along x-axis (if zoomed in)          

4. Action Touch / hold x-axis and move left / right

Effect Moveable blue cursor displays energy
