James McQuaid is a Nuclear Applications Engineer specializing in nuclear spectroscopy instrumentation and isotope identification techniques. He served at the DOE LLNL site as a Research Engineer and Group Leader where he completed numerous projects in Space Science, Nuclear Science, Nuclear Safeguards and Heavy Element Research. James has given training courses for over 10 years to over 100 State and Federal agencies, EPA scientists and Military Personnel. James holds two U.S. patents in the area of homeland security and nuclear medicine, completed a CRADA with ORTEC and LLNL and has authored numerous papers on in the field of spectroscopy.
